Listen up fellas. Being a man isn’t about weathering the elements and doing nothing about it until your face looks like an old leather football helmet. I don’t care if you’re 13 or 83, you can be improving the way you take care of yourself and drastically improving the way others view you. I encourage you to use men’s facial products in some form (even just for general cleaning).

Men’s facial products and care isn’t just for the “pretty boys” among us. It’s for all of us. Sure, maybe you’re not going all the way with men’s products, but at the very least get good stuff for what you do use. Still using Irish Spring bar soap for your face? Wrong! Still using Lever 2000 for your body? Wrong! Not applying a daily moisturizer with SPF 15+ in it? Wrong!
My story. I’m a guy. I like the ladies. And I’d like for them to like me back. It was in my 30s when I discovered that doing “manly” things like 5-minute showers where a bar of soap filled all my needs wasn’t the best thing to do. I started exploring.
At first, I just wanted to know what I should be washing my face with (boy was I wrong). Soon after, I expanded into men’s eye cream and more. Like I said, you don’t need to do it all, but you should be taking care of yourself.
Despite me being far from a fashion model (weight gain, losing some hair, etc), something happened. I felt better, I looked better, I gained confidence and the ladies noticed. Now, I’m not saying these are the best reasons for using men’s facial products. I’m just saying that they are some nice ones. A main reason would be simply taking care of the face you have.
